From what I understand, The Sims2 Holiday Edition is no different than the regular Sims2 Base Game (except for the fact that it gives you holiday themed items.) Therefore, you can cheat the exact same way. Simultaneously hold down the ctrl key, along with the shift key, and the c key. A thin strip of white should then appear at the top of your screen. Click it once and hit the ~ key to expand the screen.

Type in your cheat, tap the Enter key, and hit the Escape key to exit the cheat window. Food for thought: When you are viewing the cheat window, you can also type in 'help' (without the quotes) and it will give you a list of possible cheats. Um, yeah, I've had the same problem. You have to have 2 floors, you place one elevator downstairs and one directly above it on the second floor, must be on top. Then it should work, it did on mine anyway. Hope i helped!

HyperHappyKathy xoxo SOLUTION Alright, can answer this one. Drove be nuts, too. For every floor that you want the elevator to open, you use the elevator, NOT the shaft.

Place the first one on the ground level, or whatever floor you want to start from. You have to have the floor placed, and the walls. Next level, build the walls, and place some flooring inside. Yeah, seems weird, I know, but you can't place it without floor. Then place that elevator. Same for each level. That's all there is to it.

The shaft is ONLY for going past a floor where you don't want the elevator to stop. Basically, the elevator is the doors, and the game fills in the car or something like that. So, actual elevator for every level you want it to open, and that WILL work. Know what a pain this can be, so hope this answer finds people that need it! Hey Sims2 fan!

I don't think there's a cheat for this one, but for your sims to have a kid, these things have to happen. The Sims must be a boy and a girl. The Sims have to live in the same house. The Sims have to have their Relationship Bars up to 100 with a little heart. Once all of th ese three things happen, get the Sims to start kissing.

Then a little box pops up asking if you want a baby. Tip: having a baby is like REALLY demanding. The parents have to either swap turns caring for the baby, or the one that doesn't work has to care for it 24/7. Wasteland clothing hires retexture.

I'm having problems downloading the poses from the reference list. When I try to download a pose that I like, it downloads fine onto my computer but when I load Sims 2 up it either freezes my loading screen or crashes my game. I was just wondering whether this could have anything to do with the fact I only have Sims 2 Double Deluxe - are all the pose boxes base game compatible unless otherwise stated?
