With regards to MioMap v3.3 affecting MioPocket 2.0, i'm pretty confident that it will have no beariing on MioPocket 2.0's existing problems if you decide to re-install it. I'm pretty sure that the problems you're facing relate to the Firmware 'upgrade' that the new software did. I get the feeling there are missing dll files or renamed files or something along those lines.
